Whetu Fun Day

Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block.


My favourite part of the Amazing Race was When we had to find the price of the fruit bursts it was fun we found it quickly also the egg code was very easy to find! My second Favourite was the netball under over.


The rotation I enjoyed the most was the Stem challenge we made an Easter bunny costume for Lucian and a basket he still has the shoes and says they very comfortable.


During the Easter Egg Hunt, I found my stick in between the playground and the field and I enjoyed eating my ice block and egg.

Whetu Challenge Cartoon Scene

Today I did the whetu challenge with Sena, Carlee, Carmen, Ben and Owen. Our challenge was to create a cartoon scene from the Simpsons we all completed it I'm very proud of our creation. I think its a supernova because we all tried hard and made sure that our characters looked really good. We had to restart a couple of times. I really enjoyed it!
