 our book was called rain before rainbow. I made a map, not just any map a treasure map! I worked by myself. The scrunching worked well with my old map design (Disclameder this map does not lead any were!). I would scrunch it more so it was softer.  

for this whetu, we had to make a tower out of newspaper ours was past plant in this picture but it and every our bottom base fell (:( RIP). I worked with Sophia, Lexy and Ben. ours ended up only 77cm high. Here is the photo.

I have finished my book Detectives book my book was Year my Life broke! I did a descriptive passage on the main character Josh! I really enjoyed the book here is the photos of my fabulous finish.

Last Friday We made kites because at that time last year in lockdown all of ngatea flew kites. I worked with Gaurav to make my kite. Making the kite I and Gaurav Used bamboo and a real estate sign and a bunch of tape to make it. first, we attached bamboo together to form cross. Then we cut the real estate sign to match the bamboo cross. We taped everything together we added some super awesome drawing world-class*. Flying the kite  boy were do I start no much to cover except it got battered by the wind and broke (Worlds tiniest violin starts playing) it still glided in the wind a bit**! Here is our kite *Disclaimer none of those drawing were world-class but good in my books! ** by a bit I like a 500 cm off the ground 

 For play make create we read Sticking with you I did design I made my dream hangout it has a 100 inch TV with an Xbox also some actives like darts and a Beyblade Stadium and my PC set up With some places to sit! I worked alongside Danny! Our creativity worked well we had really creative idea's. I would add a pool that what I would change! Here are some photo's.

 Today for play make create we read the book be you the message is to be yourself. I worked with Gaurav and Lucian. We made a gaming PC that you can play a racing game with the keyboard and mouse! It was super fun to make! here are some photos. I would change 1 thing it was that we did have a tv screen for the car game to go in! Our team worked really well!

  Term 2, Week 1 2021 During Term 1 we have been practising our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online programme called NumBots.  At the start, it was super easy but progressively got more challenging. I am now on tungsten level of NumBots.   I enjoy NumBots because It gets harder as you go and you can buy lots of character items for something to work to. What I find challenging is that there is a time limit it gets really hard. I think that TTRockstars is super challenging and fun at the same time!

  For play make create we Read the book down the creek its about teamwork! We did build for our activity build was to make a second way to get a cross the creek I worked with Gaurav We made an AIRCRAFT CARRIER  with 3 big BOMBER PLANES and a Small 1 The most fun we had was making the aircraft carriers. I and Dean made a broad game for play make create. The rules are there are cards with emotions on them you spin the wheel if you have the emotion that is pulled on the wheel you say my emotion then you get a point here is a photo

Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block. My favourite part of the Amazing Race was When we had to find the price of the fruit bursts it was fun we found it quickly also the egg code was very easy to find! My second Favourite was the netball under over. The rotation I enjoyed the most was the Stem challenge we made an Easter bunny costume for Lucian and a basket he still has the shoes and says they very comfortable. During the Easter Egg Hunt, I found my stick in between the playground and the field and I enjoyed eating my ice block and egg. Here are some photos

I and Dean did the maths mystery and found out the correct answer the  culprit was Mollie

 Me,Dean,Lucian and Gaurav made a caravan 3 tent's and a kayack. here is a photo . 

For play, make, create Me Lucian and Gaurav created a boom box out kilo we also made a computer with a mouse and keyboard. Lucian had to leave so we couldn't make a video or a picture with him. I think we made supernova it took a very long time.  here is a photo STAY SAFE ;)

Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I participated in 1 length freestyle 2 length freestyle 1 length backstroke 2 length backstroke and 1 length breaststroke. We had two art sessions this week and I am doing a big landscape circle we have a beach, Mountain, and sea. In reading this week we have done a role as a predictor were we have to predict what is going happen in the story. Part of our maths programme is NumBots and I think I am really good at it there are 18 stages and I am at the 7 stage which is called chrome.

  Week 3, Term 1, 2021 Someone who has helped me with my learning this year is Ethan he helped with my me, myself and I slide by telling me my strengths and weaknesses. The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time is doing my first full length of the ngatea pool. The most fun thing that I have done at a play or lunchtime this year is watching the cement being poured. One word that describes learning in Whetu is FUN!. Something I am looking forward to is getting diamond in numbots.
