(Success Monnet) OverView   Who Mrs Taffie What she stole Whetu's Milky way's and HDMI    *Gasp* Where Whetu Milky way NPS Why because she was dropping off things and she had trouble chrome casting so she stole our one and saw chocolates so she took some chocolates How She disabled the alarm opened the door took the HDMI and stole the chocolates  When Sunday 10th of October 2020.

 Blog challenge week 3  term 4 the blog challenge was to make a poster/ google drawings about a police career here is my Mahi.

  Athletics  Yesterday was our School Athletics Unfortunately I was not able to participate because of a medical condition. That the doctor said that I am not allowed to do that kind of physical activity. My favourite part of the training was discus because I was really good at it. My Least favourite part of the training was 100 Meter sprint because running is not really my thing. Stay healthy ;)

 We did our fingerprints we dipped our fingers in Ink rolled our fingers on the sheet (below) I have rare fingerprint named a double loop. 4th rarest (the lest rarest) is the loop the 3rd is whorl 2nd is arch 1st is Double loop.  Stay Healthy :)  

 There is a crime scene in whetu. here are the things I know and police info some things I am still working on. I will give more updates.

  This week I joined the cooking group. On the first day We learnt about kitchen safety like don’t put a knife in a toaster and be careful knives. On the second day We prepared the vegetables by chopping them up. On the third day We ate our soup and had it with beard The part I liked the most Chopping up the pumpkin

 For this week our letter is drum roll plz T.  I got a bit creative. Yep I added memes

  Wetū Workshops Reflection During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops. The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been learning coding animation on scratch.   The new learning that I have learnt is how to code a detailed and complex animation. What I have most enjoyed about the workshops are that you get to chose if you want to do or not like if you have no interest in that activity you can choose another activity. I am interested in learning more about coding because I always wanted to make my own game.

This my art for term 3 I think I Showed lots of resilience towards it. I really Proud of it! Here is my Mahi

 So for Inquiry, we are discussing the question should animals be kept in zoos I think they should be that's were I stand. the stage we are at is "So What?". I created a  Static advertisement to show which side I stand on and why. I first planed it in my art book I then I recreated It on google drawing I added Images to it. I am proud of my work.  For this chapter chat, I had to design or plan a hat. I didn't just make a hat I made Ross wearing the hat. I round of it I had to Restart so! many times It was hard. But I did, in the end, it was fun! Here's my Mahi

  Cross Country Reflection 2020 This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain.  I ran in the 9 age group. I am most proud of that I made it to the end of the race. I think my effort towards our training at school is I tried to run whenever I had breath but I talked a little in the meantime. I showed the Learning Power of Resilience by I keep on going when it hurts so much.

Today I did the whetu challenge with Sena, Carlee, Carmen, Ben and Owen. Our challenge was to create a cartoon scene from the Simpsons we all completed it I'm very proud of our creation. I think its a supernova because we all tried hard and made sure that our characters looked really good. We had to restart a couple of times. I really enjoyed it! The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is the Blog challenge I have enjoyed it because you get to share your Learning and hard Mahi to the world! Something that has challenged me this term has been the Math investigation because when I ask people to get information from they don't want to answer so it is to get the information I need that is why I find it challenging. The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the Jingle. It's fun to create your own rap. The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was roll a drawing. It's fun to create a spider but really fun to color it in and make a scene out of it. That's why it’s my favorite. An aim I have for my learning is to get faster at times tables so I can be a supernova and get a TTrocksta rs award! That's my goal!!!

EGG CARTON CREATION This week for our Whetu Challenge we created something using egg cartons. I used straws, an egg carton, and ice block sticks. It did not turn out as planned but I am proud of it. Tennis Ball Tower Challenge Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper, 2 straws and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support). Today I worked Jacob and Leo At first, we had trouble with communication The easiest thing was   using the straws to make it stay on the ground The best part of our tower was it was tough you could blow on it and it would fall Our tower looked like a mess In the end It fell and it didn't stand up I think its a shooting star because It did not stand up. But we tried our best
